Chinese "Chan" art is similar to Japanese "Zen" meditational art. It acts to inspire the viewer expanding the imagination beyond the soft painted understatement of the artist. Regarding Challenges - The stipling image is of Grand Master Haishi of Haishi-Ha Shito Ryu Karate Do, Japan.
