Angkor Wat
Explored and photographed in 2008. Angkor Wat is an enormous religious temple complex located in northern Cambodia. Built as both a Hindu and Buddhist Multi-Structure. Takes days maybe weeks to explore. Originally built in the first half of the 12th century as a Hindu temple. Spreads across more than 400 acres, Angkor Wat is said to be the largest religious monument in the world. The site was underdeveloped and exploration was mostly open, meaning I was allowed to wander freely throughout the massive 400 acres at will. Thus I climbed steps and hills where I could and/or went into rooms that were accessible when I could. A very unique place to see. Camera a must. Not recommended as a "group" tour. Explore on your own. Admission charged.
